Hartnett Middle School Students Earns Honors at National History Day State Contest
Blackstone-Millville Regional School District made history on April 12 as ten middle school students from Frederick W. Hartnett Middle School competed in their first-ever National History Day State Competition—and walked away with two awards!
This event, held across Massachusetts, brings together young scholars with a passion for history, research, and storytelling. Representing Blackstone-Millville with pride, these students not only showcased incredible work but also earned statewide recognition for their efforts.

David Sears Memorial Prize for the Outstanding Project in Military History (Junior Division)

Junior Individual Performance – Honorable Mention
Performance: Hammurabi and Moses
Student: Zachary Hardenbergh
All students are from Frederick W. Hartnett Middle School, and their success speaks volumes about their dedication and the guidance they received from Mr. Rosendale, who helped make this amazing opportunity a reality.
Not only did they take home awards, but these young scholars also created memories, grew in confidence, and represented the Blackstone-Millville community with pride.
