There’s no place like the Blackstone Public Library for an evening of whimsical fun! This year, the library is bringing a brand-new theme to its annual community night with Wizard of Oz Night! Get ready for a magical adventure on April 10, where the library will be transformed into the Land of Oz for a night full of entertainment, activities, and surprises for all ages.
A Night Full of Oz-Themed Fun!
Step into the world of Dorothy, the Tin Man, and the Wicked Witch as you explore the many exciting activities planned for the evening:
- Live Animals – Meet some amazing creatures up close.
- Henna Tattoos & Fortune Telling – Get a mystical henna design or have your fortune told.
- Scavenger Hunt – Follow the clues and see if you can find your way to the Emerald City!
- Mime Performances – Enjoy a special show at 6:30 PM, 7:00 PM, and 7:30 PM.
- Themed Snacks & Prizes – Satisfy your cravings with fun, Oz-inspired treats.
- Photo Ops – Capture the magic with themed photo opportunities.
- Library Staff in Costume! – See if you can spot your favorite Wizard of Oz characters among the staff!
Craft Corner by the Lollipop Guild
The Friends of the Blackstone Public Library will be hosting a special craft station, acting as the Lollipop Guild for the evening! Stop by to make your very own lollipop craft and take home a sweet memory.
