The Blackstone pet supplies drive is back—and your help is needed! Hosted by the Blackstone Lions, this special one-day drive aims to gather essential pet supplies to support the hardworking team at the Blackstone Regional Animal Shelter.

📌 In front of Blackstone Town Hall
The animal shelter provides love, care, and medical attention to local pets looking for a forever home. With kitten season in full swing and more animals coming through their doors, the need for supplies is greater than ever.
What to Donate to the Blackstone Lions’ Pet Supplies Drive
The shelter urgently needs the following items:
- 🧴 Liquid laundry detergent
- 🧼 Bleach
- 🌬️ Dryer sheets
- 🧻 Paper towels
- 🐾 Pâté-style canned cat food
- 🐱 Purina Cat Chow (dry food)
- 🐈 Kitten food (wet and dry)
- 🐕 Dry dog food
- 🧻 Pee-pee / potty pads
- 🛏️ Small blankets – especially helpful for kittens
- 🛏️ Old towels and blankets (clean and usable)
- 🦴 Unused pet supplies (toys, leashes, litter, etc.)
Every donation—big or small—makes a difference. Whether you’re cleaning out your linen closet or picking up a few extra supplies on your next store run, your kindness will go a long way.
Can’t make it to the Pet Supplies Drive?
Visit the Shelter or Drop Off Anytime
The Blackstone Regional Animal Shelter is open daily until 5 PM and welcomes visitors during regular hours—and Saturdays from 9 AM to 12 PM. Stop by to:
- Meet dogs, cats, and new kittens looking for loving homes
- Drop off your donations
- Learn how to support their mission year-round
If you can’t make it during open hours, no problem—there’s a donation bin located outside the shelter where you can safely leave items.
