Due to HIPAA requirements, the identity of these individuals cannot be released. The Board of Health, through their Public Health Nurse, has interviewed the positive individuals and the contacts of the positive individuals of their exposure so that they will take protective measures. Those who test positive are placed in isolation and monitored daily by the Public Health Nurse. In the case of exposure to the virus, individuals will be placed in quarantine for 14 days and be monitored by the Public Health Nurse for symptoms. The Board of Health is following the process outlined by the Department of Public Health.

We are in Phase 2 starting February 1, 2021
Individuals age 75 and older are eligible beginning February 1, 2021 and is in Group 1. Select vaccination locations will have appointments available beginning Wednesday, January 27 for individuals age 75 or older. More locations will have appointments available for February 1 and beyond in the coming days.
Individuals age 65 and older, individuals with 2+ certain medical conditions, and/or residents and staff of low income and affordable housing are eligible and is in Group 2.
If your group is not specifically listed in either Phase 1 or Phase 2, you will be eligible to receive the vaccine in Phase 3, which we expect to launch in April.
Individuals must present proof of their eligibility to receive the vaccine. Some sites require individuals to attest to their eligibility as part of the online appointment scheduling process. All other sites will accept the Commonwealth’s Self Attestation form, which can be filled out online. Residents should be prepared to present this form in a hard copy or electronically at their appointment.

The Blackstone Senior Center and Blackstone Board of Health have teamed up to organize vaccination clinics for Blackstone residents over 75 years old on February 19. At the moment, no other Vaccine clinics are being organized in town.
