BMR Jazz Ensemble Strikes Gold at Jazz States!

The Blackstone-Millville Regional (BMR) High School Jazz Ensemble has done it again! On March 22, the talented musicians earned a gold medal at the Massachusetts Association for Jazz Education (MAJE) State Finals, an achievement that secures their place among the best high school jazz bands in the state.
This outstanding performance means that the BMR Jazz Ensemble will move on to the next level, where they will have the incredible opportunity to showcase their talent at the prestigious Boston Hatch Memorial Shell on Sunday, May 4. The Hatch Shell is an iconic venue known for hosting world-class musical performances, making this a truly special experience for the students.
Under the dedicated leadership of Mr. Marcotte, the ensemble has consistently demonstrated exceptional musicianship, hard work, and passion for jazz. Their success at Jazz States is a reflection of their dedication and the strong music program at BMR.
