Bid Now: Blackstone Fire Truck Up for Auction

Another Chance to Own a Piece of Blackstone’s Firefighting History
Back in March, Blackstone listed a retired 1998 International fire engine for auction. Despite its long service to the town, the listing quietly came and went without a single bid with only 385 page views.
By April, that changed — and some timely local buzz may have helped.
When the town put two more surplus vehicles on the auction block — a 1997 Ford Dive Rescue Vehicle and the same 1998 fire engine — the bidding took off. The rescue vehicle drew 22 bids and sold for $7,100 with over 4,000 page views. The fire engine, previously overlooked, made a major comeback with 90 bids and a final price of $13,600 after attracting over 3,000 page views.
Now, Blackstone is offering up another chance to take home a piece of local firefighting history: a 1994 E-One International Fire Engine, now live on Municibid.
This four-wheel-drive fire engine features:
- Make: E-One.
- Chassis: International.
- Engine: International DTA-466.
- Transmission: Allison MD 3060 Automatic.
- Fuel Type: Diesel.
- Mileage: 21,618.
- Engine Hours: 2,572.
- Pump: HALE 1250 GPM.
- Water Tank: 750 Gallon.
