If you haven’t known this about Blackstone yet, we are home to Daniels Farm – a historic farm in Blackstone, Massachusetts. The farmstead was established in 1750 and has been in the same family since 1797. Daniels Farm, with several outbuildings on the property still intact, is on the National Historic Register and has continued to show and teach visitors about farming life from the 18th century until today.
This weekend, October 5 to 6, 2019 you can come and experience The Battle for Daniels Farm, a yearly event where visitors can experience the American Revolution coming alive! For two days, visitors can experience the live-action historical simulation of the Battle for Daniels Farm with hospital demonstrations following the battle. There will also be artillery and musket demonstrations, cooking demonstrations, blacksmithing, medical practices, rope making, tinsmiths, and period music. The historic house and cider mill dating from the late 18th century will be available for tours. This is another one-of-a-kind must-attend events in Blackstone, MA that we are proud of.
$5 goes towards the protection and conservation of this historic Blackstone gem.
